Dear Sound Healing Friends:

These are most tumultuous times we're living in. No doubt many of you have already partaken in the numerous global meditations that have occurred to help assist our Mother Earth and create balance on this planet. The work of many have shown the power of vocalized prayer-how our intention coupled with sacred sound can alter the very fiber of our being-and in particular, can change the very structure of our most precious commodity-water.

Our 15th Annual Healing Sounds Intensive will be taking place in the 3rd week of July. During the Intensive, on Thursday, July 22nd, we will be holding a Day of Toning-an extraordinary event in which our attendees sound together for healing of ourselves and our planet. We would like to invite you to participate with us and co-create it as a Global Toning event by joining us via the internet at www.templeofsacredsound.org

At noon Eastern Daylight Time (NY Time) on Thursday, July 22nd for one hour we will be sounding together specifically for both personal and planetary healing in order to create positive shift and change on our beloved Gaia, including assisting the waters of our dear planet. These Full and New Moon Tonings are sonic meditation circles. An intimate gathering for people interested in toning, voice, mantra, chant, vocal overtoning and sound healing. Toning can best be described as the uninhibited use of the voice to create a space for healing, transformation, and slowing us down from our busy day to day lives; entering a peaceful state in the spaces between the notes; true silence. Each Session plays with a specific theme and/or archetypal energy in correspondence with time of year.

Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, joyous, multi-cultural circle dances that use sacred phrases, chants, singing, and movements from the many sacred traditions of the earth to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and others. They promote peace and integration within individuals and groups world wide. The dances are meant to be a form of moving meditation, with a focus on attunement to the divine reality and respect for all of the various manifestations of this reality. There are no performers nor audience - new arrivals and old hands form the circle together. You need no experience in meditation, singing or dancing, only the desire to experience with an open heart.
